Auburn Unitarian Universalist Fellowship

(2 hours/week on Sunday mornings)

The Auburn Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (AUUF) is looking for someone to act as the back-up person for our Nursery Caregiver and Playground Supervisor, spending time in each position each Sunday morning in order to become familiar with both positions and with children.  The position is for two (2) hours every Sunday from 10-12.  This person will be trained in each position under the supervision of the lead Nursery Caregiver and Playground Supervisor and may at times be required to substitute for one or the other. The Primary Nursery Caregiver and the Playground Supervisor will plan with the back-up person for those Sundays when they do not expect to be available.  The pay-scale is based on the Playground Supervisor/Assistant pay scale at $20/Sunday.

AUUF Nursery Caregiver Job Description

The nursery caregiver provides care for infants / toddlers (6 to 36 mo.) in our nursery on Sunday mornings. The AUUF prefers to have nursery caregivers who have formal training and supervised experience in fields related to child development; infant/child/adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation training; knowledge of health and safety standards and general first aid; and three (3) recommendations by non-family members.  Interested individuals who do not meet these qualifications, but are willing to learn AUUF Caregiving Standards, are encouraged to apply.
